Automatically resizing screenshot to Powerpoint template size

I've got the function working where I can take screenshots and they wind up in Powerpoint. What doesn't work well is that every slide then has to be resized to fit the current, or better said the default, Powerpiont screen size. Even if I choose to "Prompt for Template" in the Powerpoint Share Options this doesn't size the incoming image to the scale of the ppt canvas.

Am I missing something or can this be addressed?

The way round that would be to figure out the required size to fit the powerpoint template and then create a preset that scales the image to a fixed px size using the scale image effect.  The scale to specific width / height options are the ones to experiment with until you find which of them suits you best.

You may, in fact, require two presets, one for specific height and one for specific width, because of course no two screenshots ever have the exact same aspect ratio so you will get situations where something is the right width but too tall, or the right height but too wide.

Whatever you do, some resizing will, inevitable be needed.  The issue is, how much of that can you do in SnagIt before it gets to PowerPoint and how much has to be done in PP after the event?
