Automating A Pause On Screen

I am 2 weeks new to Camtasia 8. I use Windows 7. I would like viewers of a video to have a screen prompt on a video that allows the viewer to be able to pause it and continue as they please. If that's possible, how do you do it?  Thanks in advance!

Just tell them to click on the spacebar to pause it and again to restart it. I usually include those instructions at the beginning.

If the videos are being viewed from the web via most modern browsers ie; Chrome, Firefox, Edge, IE
than viewers can just click on the video to pause/start. Also when a viewer hovers over a video a status bar at the bottom of the video  will usually slide up that has a play/pause button, video progress bar , sound button and full screen button, that's provided you did not use a option to hide the bar.
Camtasia's smart player will do the above if used to add videos to your site. Youtube videos also do the above when embedded on a web page
