In the past after I finished recording, it would start an autoplay back which I loved as it allows me to listen to the first part of the audio, to validate the quality (right mike selected) and levels.  I can't find a way to do this I the latest release - is there a command somewhere that I am missing?

Hi Steve

Pretty sure what you need to do is select "Tools" after you select "Record".  Under "Tools" select "Program".  Under program make sure the "Hide preview window after recording is stopped"  box is unselected.  When you have finished your recording the preview window should pop up allowing you to preview your video.

Unfortunately,

the "Pre View Window" is currently broken and cannot be viewed. So when you enable it, you will be disappointed at this time. TechSmith is aware of the problem. But until they release a patch or maintenance update. It's a blank white screen of uselessness that greets you after a recording.

I like to preview short recordings for errors. I can re-record a 30 second to 1 min clip,  as quickly or faster. Then I can correct 2 or 3  errors in the editor. "Depending on there severity of course"

Sometimes I just need to record  a chain of events that unfold quickly. Then I can take a peek at the recording without saving it and using the editor as well.
