Basic Usability

I use Camtasia for some years now. I assume I am a typical user.

I record the screen, then I edit the recording before I add the annotations.

Most of the time I select a part of the timeline, then I cut.

However, I miss basic functionality in an easy way:

1) A click to remove the current frame.

2) An option to extend the current frame at the same place where I will hopefully find a solution for 1). The current solution to right-click on the time line (sometimes even disabled) is not intuitive, because the frame is already on the screen and not anonymous in the timeline. I asked for a better solution for this feature years ago already.

3) Right clicking on a selection, then speed up or slow down this part of the timeline.

4) Please let me save a default annotation button (including the time period it covers.)

Thank you.

1 ... with target frame displayed in canvas, and clip selected in timeline, hold shift and use "." [">"] key; that will select that frame; use ctl-X to delete that frame; other unlocked/un-disabled tracks will be affected

2 ... my workaround

4 ... you can set a default duration for annotations in edit/preferences; shift-N will add the last annotation used
