I just learned through the very helpful and responsive Tech Support team at TechSmith that I can not convert multiple *.snagproj files to some other format such as png; tiff or jpeg. Instead, I have to perform this action one snagproj file at a time. Based on forum posts, it seems like this is something that can be done on the PC side.
I migrated from PC to Mac about two years ago and I brought Snagit with me because it's a fantastic product. Since coming to Mac, I've also installed and learned Camtasia. I believe TechSmith makes great software, but it's disappointing that the functionality between PC and Mac differs. Batch conversion is a reasonable feature to expect. When doing screen captures of How To do XYZ on a computer, regardless of whether it's Mac or PC, the obvious approach is to capture shots in sequential order, one after another. To then have to go into each file and convert one at a time is incredibly time consuming and really shouldn't be.
I hope the development team at TechSmith take this feature request into consideration and get it done.
