Batch Edit Videos & Rip Thumbnails

I know I can batch convert videos with Camtasia, but is there a way to batch edit them as well?

I've got some old videos that I'm re-encoding and uploading that I need to have some cropping done, resizing and overlays. Each batch of videos I've got will all have the same properties so I'd like to be able to just set it up once and let the software do all the work for me... instead of me having to come back every 30-40 minutes and check to see if a video has finished so I can apply the same exact changes to the next one and save it in exactly the same way.

Also, is there anyway for me to tell Camtasia to pull a specific frame (based on time or whatever) from a video to save it as an image so I can use it as a thumbnail online?

Thanks a lot.

Hi Jason,

There is not a way to batch edit in the way you are talking about. There is an article here on batch rendering that may help you? Give it a look and let me know:

You can save a specific frame from a video by going to File > Produce Special > Save Frame As, or use the hotkey CTRL + F when on a frame in the timeline.

Hope this helps!
