Best way to append video to an existing one?

I filmed and edited a 12 minute video (Which required me to zoom in during the entire thing)... Once I completed it I realized I forgot something that's necessary.  So I recorded the additional video and placed it at the end of my original video.  I'd like to make the split between the two video as seamless as possible.  Right now it's pretty obvious that I had to splice in a second video... Is there any technique that can make this less obvious?

Can you provide a URL so that I can see what you've done so far? Off the top of my head a couple things I can think of as potential fixes are:

1. If it's an option, you could insert a title frame to indicate the next section that would break it up, the change would be less noticeable.

2. Once you've got the second part looking as close as possible to the first (size an zoom), then apply a simple "Fade" transition between the two.

Finally, if there's anything else you can have "going on" in the video while this change is happening, that would take the viewers attention away from it and might be acceptable.

Hope that helps!

not to be simplistic, but have you tried using a transition?  or a stop at end, click to continue hotspot?

if the camera position and general setup is the same, then to get the same zoom parameters easily, right mouse click on the already zoomed video and select 'copy visual properties'.  Then move to the second new video component, right mouse click again and this time choose 'paste visual properties'

thanks for everyone's suggestions and input!  It took a bit of finagling and messing with things but I got it to what I consider to be acceptable... The two video's aren't 100% identical but I managed to get them close enough it isn't distracting
