Best way to produce multiple similar YouTube videos?

Hi, I'm a new Camtasia user (Windows 10, Camtasia 9.01) after some tips from you more experienced users out there please! I'm using it to produce over 100 nearly identical videos (they're intro videos for prospective client companies, so same video but personalised greeting at the start of the voice-over for each one). I just have one project, edit the first few seconds of audio, then publish to YouTube as an unlisted video so I can use the individual links as mail merge tags. I'm having a few issues with crashing when rendering (gets to 0.3% then freezes). Any advice? Is it best to just edit and publish one by one like this, or should I save each edited version as a new project then do a batch production and upload to YouTube from there? Or is there a better way? I'm on a tight schedule, so any advice to minimise crashes and make this more efficient would be gratefully received! Thanks

if you're having issues with producing [like a freeze at .3%], recommend you do each production individually, and not use batch production

a freeze at .3% can indicate a project glitch at that location on timeline

look at that location at max timeline zoom in to see if you can pick out what might be the cause

if you can do a timeline selection after that location and do a produce-selection-as that works, that will confirm the glitch

are you using the Library to hold the common project component?

this tutorial might help with locating a project glitch ...

Thanks kayakman, that's really helpful. Sounds stupid but as I've had this problem since I started using Camtasia, I just assumed Camtasia was really glitchy when it came to saving and production! Didn't occur to me that there was a project glitch right at the start of the video (obvious though that now seems). Thanks, I will get investigating...

I'm not using the library for the common component but that would probably make sense.

Well, I still don't know what the glitch actually was, but I found it produced ok after the first 0.02 seconds - so just deleted those and now it works fine. Thanks again!
