Black frame around my video. Camtasia 8

I recorded my powerpoint (1920x1080) and the camtasia project appears 1920x1080, but the encoded movie has black background around the captured movie. When I turn on the crop tool to crop, it is set exactly where is should be around the PPT slides, so there is nothing to crop but I cannot get rid of the black background. How can I solve this problem?

That's a Cam9 screen, Rick - CJ is using Cam8. Can you show the settings for Cam8 (if not, I will capture and post). Thanks!

You may also want to right-click the video on the canvas and choose "Scale to fit".
