Black screen for some sections of a produced video

I am working on Camtasia 9. When increasing the clip speed to 10x, the produced video resulted with a black screen. For some reason the video could not render the video properly, which resulted in a black screen.

As a quick workaround:
1. I produced the section of the video, which caused the issue when increasing the clip speed to 10x, but only increased the clip speed by 5x.
2. Imported the produced video back to my original video
3. Increased the clip speed by 2x (which achieved what I was looking for)

I must say that after reading through some of the solutions that I managed to find, this was just the quickest one. So, I'm not sure its the correct way to workaround the issue, but it was a quick fix which didn't require too much effort.

Hope this helps someone with the same issue.

However, it would be incredibly helpful if we could have a real fix for this issue from Camtasia :)

I have never experienced that issue before.
Could you possible produce instructions on how to reproduce this, besides the 10x speed.

I would say 9 out of 10 of my videos are sped up to some degree.
And I have never seen a black screen from it.

Would love to see this one reproduced.

Well... first, great that you haven't experienced this issue :)

As for reproducing it... I simply increased the speed of my video that was close to 3 minutes long by 10x. This clip was only part of my video which is close to 7 minutes long, with other pieces putting it all together.

When I produced the complete video, the specific clip was produced as black.
That's it really, I'm not sure what else to add here :)
