Blocking notifications while using Capture on an iPad

This may be more of an iPad iOS question, but I thought it would be relevant for many users of the Techsmith Capture app on an iPad.  This has worked very well for capturing videos for me, but they occasionally get interrupted by notifications at the top of the screen.  I have tried using Do Not Disturb to block the notifications, but that did not help.  So, right now all I can do is turn off notifications for the apps most likely to generate a notification and then turn then on again afterwards.  Obviously, this is a pain and, at the least, an inelegant solution.  Finding a way to do this by flipping one switch on the iPad by searching on the Apple website has not been fruitful for me.  Has anyone else found a solution that works?

You would think so, wouldn't you?...  But I tried doing exactly this first -- Do Not Disturb with setting to Always.  Did not work -- notifications kept popping up.  Was very annoying...

While you might not be able to stop all the notifications easily, you can do something about them in editing. If the screen is somewhat static when the notification comes, you can use the "freeze region" effect in Camtasia to lock that area so it doesn't change from slightly before the notification to slightly after. Then it will look like the notification never happened.

Thanks! That is something I can use. That’s one of the (many) video editing features in Camtasia I’ve never used... going to learn it now!
