Blurry/distorted video when sharing Camtasia Video via Level 3 Cisco Webex application.

I've produced multiple videos in 1080, 720, and 480 through Camtasia in .mp4 and .wmv formats and they look great on my screen (especially the 1080p) but when I share the video through Webex, the quality is lost on the recipient's end. We've tested it on different computers/screens/internet in the office but same results. If I share any other .mp4 or .wmv files through Webex, they appear fine. It's only Camtasia produced videos. I opened a ticket with Webex, but they said the only thing they can determine is that the particular software (i.e. Camtasia) may not produce videos that are good with Webex. Just seeing if anyone has any thoughts or experiences, because both companies are well known, so you'd think their software would work together.

Hmmm... This isn't something I've seen before. I am sorry to send you to another location, but would you mind opening a ticket here for support? Our tech support team may be able to help!

Hi Kaitlin, I opened one yesterday and they suggested going to WebEx. I've talked to WebEx and they did some testing with me in the online webinar but at the end claimed it's nothing on their end. All videos we've tested in WebEx work except for ones I've made in Camtasia, but the Camtasia videos look fine if I send to anyone via email or upload to a website. I can open another ticket but wanted to share that first.

Whoops! I didn't realize you'd spoken with our techs already.

I'm curious to hear if any users report back with similar issues. I wish I could help more, but I'm not sure what to say!

What programs were the other mp4s and wmvs that you uploaded from?

The only other thing I had available to test is stock videos that I can download from the internet. That's what I tested with WebEx which is what they used to prove their point that it must be Camtasia that is affecting the video format since I can play other mp4 videos and there's not a loss of quality.

I just thought to download one of your tutorial videos that you create with Camtasia as a test. It was clearer but still pixelated when sharing with another. It definitely lost more quality compared to other mp4 videos that I've tested. I used the "Getting Started 06: Cut Unwanted Media" video. Do you know what dimensions these videos are produced at?
