I am trying to do a region capture with a thin boder on the outside of the image and then a drop shadow. I cannot get this to save as a profile. I either get a thin border on the outside of the drop shadow or no border at all.

Hi Sandy,
What version of Snagit are you using?

Version 11.1.0 (Build 248). What seems to happen is the settings I select don't save. As soon as I use a different profile and then go back to the previous one the settings are not there again. I tried making it the default, but that hasn't saved the settings as well.

Hello Sandy,

Make sure once you select the settings you want that you press the Save as New Profile button:

You could also check out the tutorial on working with profiles. You can find it here:

http://www.techsmith.com/tutorial-sna...

Also when you are selecting the border for your picture make sure to do it from the Drop Shadow Edge dialog box.

I hope this helps.

Erika
