Brighten dull,white background.

I use a white photo paper for my backdrops, but they keep coming out very dull and beige. I'm using halogens and 3 point lighting, but still having troubles due to low light issues. I've tried using the color adjustment setting to brighten the background, but then having to change my contrast and saturation to a level that just doesn't look natural anymore. Is there a better/easier way to switch my already-white but dull background to a brighter one? Thanks!

I'm thinking this is a camera shoot?

You could try lighting your backdrop with more lights and/or try adjusting your camera settings.
ie; exposure,  contrast,  etc.

I can't think of a way to isolate the background from the foreground so adjustments just effect it.

Maybe someone else has figured a way to do it.
