Hello everyone!

I am wondering is there any way to adjust brightness/contrast and sharpness of a video in Camtasia?

Remote recording sometimes gives quite a dark output which would need to be corrected.

Hi Kirils, there's not a way to make those brightness adjustments currently. Can you post a screenshot or a clip from one of your dark recordings to help us see what it looks like?

The ability to adjust brightness, contrast and sharpness with Camtasia Studio 8 would be a great additional feature as I need to make these adjustments when editing videos shot with colored backdrops.

Is there a way to add this to a wish list for upcoming updates to Camtasia Studio?

By the way, I realize there is the ability to "Colorize", under the visual properties -- Visual effects... But would appreciate a bit more control over the brightness, contrast and sharpness when editing.

Just hit the need for brightness auto-fix last week Was silly I had to look for another video editor as Movie Maker wash crashing and my newly bought Camtasia simply didn't have any controls to help.

I have the same problem and was wondering that there is not option for this, I really like the software (currently Iam in the trial phase) and want wo bye it, but the missing options are a no go :(

So I need a second programm to do this.

That's a serious oversight. I'm already having to use Audacity to fill in for camtasia's inability to equalize sound. Now I find that it can't adjust brightness and contrast. Incredible.

Currently there is not such feature. But many of us really need it. So, if u want it, make sure to go to the following link and +1 it. That has got more following than this thread and so will be noticed soon.

So, lets hope they add this functionality soon
