Built-in MP4 converter in Camtasia

Please consider adding a way to convert .wmv files to .mp4 files. I use Camtasia mainly to edit and share GoToMeeting recordings to Vimeo.  After weeks of frustration, I reached out to chat and found out my best bet was to download HandShake and convert the file before bringing it into Camtasia.  I really feel this should be an added step needed IN Camtasia and not a whole 'nuther piece of software.  You know, something like File Menu > Cleanup Bad Video.

Thanks for considering.

Hi Kristin,

I create some of my videos in PowerPoint and save them as .wmv, because of some of the animation times work better than exporting as .mp4. I then bring the .wmv file using "Import Media" into Camtasia 8 or 9 with no problem. I also use Handbrake, but I haven't had a reason to convert for that purpose.

Kristin, I think this is the case for GTM also, but in GoToWebinar there is a dropdown box that allows you to select WMV or MP4 for your recording output. I just took one straight into Camtasia then onto Youtube without the need for Handbrake, either.
