Calibrate Cursor

Regular readers will know that I have experienced a number of issues with mouse and keyboard accuracy. Other users have experienced some of them too.

Ultimately the fix was to edit dome values in a .json file, using notepad.  Editing system files in this way is not without risks.

My suggestion is therefore to provide a calibration tool that will let a user register their mouse and adjust the .json file entries programmatically.

+1 although it is not a priority for me, it would be a much better way to handle it

Hi Paul!

Great idea here, thanks! Just to be clear to other users that may be new to the community, if I understand Paul correctly he is referring to the actual cursor within Snagit and not the cursor stamp that you can apply to images. Am I interpreting that correctly?

Correct.  The actual mouse cursor when working inside SnagIt
