Techsmith can you please fix this issue with Camtaisa?.

This is a big issue since we can not use the smart player to play back captions which is interfering with our accessibility efforts.

The following is from Bb support and one of our CSUEB course builders:

Hi
I was able to find the reason why the HTML code uploaded incomplete as instructor. The SafeHTML filter sanitize the code, it detected the unknown iframe tag and removed it. Tested the HTML in the Safe HTML filter for content editor, iframe was sanitize from the HTML.

https://www.screencast.com/t/hN0xzTMuI

"The iframe tag contained an attribute that we could not process. The src attribute had a value of "HDEV3101RDA-2015-make-chart_player.html?embedIFrameId=embeddedSmartPlayerInstance". This value could not be accepted for security reasons. We have chosen to remove this attribute from the tag and leave everything else in place so that we could process the input."

Client needs to customize the SafeHTML policy or add the approved iframe code

Please let me know if you have additional questions or comments about this issue.

Sincerely,

Gerardo Vazquez

One thing to note:
The Smartplayer HTML is changed by the filter for regular users but not admins. This means that no one can effectively upload camtaisa smart player out put to their online storage unless they happen to be an admin.
