Camtasia (2018) does not prevent Mac going to sleep. My workaround is to set caffeinate in Terminal to a huge value, what could be or course more convenient, if Camtasia did this itself.
$ caffeinate -it 10800 &
[1] 1423
$ pmset -g
System-wide power settings:
Currently in use:
 Sleep On Power Button 1
 autopoweroff         0
 standbydelayhigh     86400
 autopoweroffdelay    28800
 proximitywake        1
 standby              1
 standbydelaylow      0
 ttyskeepawake        1
 hibernatemode        0
 powernap             1
 gpuswitch            2
 hibernatefile        /var/vm/sleepimage
 highstandbythreshold 50
 displaysleep         5
 womp                 1
 networkoversleep     0
 sleep                5 (sleep prevented by coreaudiod, sharingd, caffeinate)
 tcpkeepalive         1
 halfdim              1
 autorestart          0
 disksleep            10
Please add this also to 2018 version and not only to 2019 version, because this request was made more than once in 2018.
Thanks

Excellent feedback / suggestion. Devs are very keen to have Camtasia implement. Super constructive / actionable--kudos for being on point.
