Camtasia 2018 issues

Well, I upgraded to Camtasia 2018, and here are a few of the problems I am having: 1) imports from prior version projects freeze before completion or have incomplete content. 2). the video portion of a recording can't be seen on the timeline. 3) I sometimes get a crash when I unlock and then re-lock an audio track. 4) the scissors icon (for Cuts) does not work. I do have both Camtasia 9 and 2018 on one Win 7 machine...could this be an issue?

It wouldn't surprise me if Windows 7's is the issue. They quit updating the operating system quite some time ago.
If it were me I would run a repair install of Camtasia 2018.
The image below is a repair install of Camtasia nine but the procedure is same for 2018.

If that doesn't get you anywhere, I would contact tech support and see what they have to say. That's a lot of issues to have. They're equipped to sort through the issues relatively quickly.

Figured out what was going on. Not a Win 7 issue (Camtasia 2018 is supposed to work on Win 7.) Turns out the importing of previous version projects does not work well. I had to recreate my project masters from scratch and all is working as it should.

Microsfot still has some support for Windows 7 if you have the Extended Support and that will be done on January 14th, 2020 from my information. Joe's suggestion was a great one to try and galdy you got it fixed and figured out Phillip. Have a great day/night.
