Camtasia 2018 Not Responding

I have Windows 10 Home on my desktop.  My desktop was built for hi-end 3d modelling and gaming, so the set up is pretty great & not to mention costly!  I upgraded from Camtasia 9 to Camtasia 2018 due to some recording issues with photoshop that I thought could be solved by upgrading, but since I did so, Camtasia 2018 I've found to be quite buggy.  Every time I run the programme to edit my recordings, I get a "Not Responding" issue and everything stalls, expect any voice or music recording.  When the issue subsides, 10-20 seconds later, the timeline has jumped that amount of time and I can continue editing, until suddenly it happens again.  I can hear my CPU going like crazy at these moments, but I don't have this issue with any other programme on my desktop, so I feel like I can only fault the Camtasia 2018 software.  Is it even compatible with Windows 10 Home?  Also, my recording files aren't even that big as I thought that could be the issue.  Maybe I was recording for too long, so I tried 5 and 10 minute recordings and same issue when editing.

The software never crashes, however, but I feel annoyed, shelling out £135 for the upgrade + maintenance.

As Kayakman said, Tech Support is likely your best bet. And fortunately TechSmith has made it as simple as falling off a log. Just click Help > Technical Support right from inside Camtasia!

Cheers... Rick :)
