When creating additional Themes for various clients and/or projects, the drop down list does not auto-sort alpha-numerically. It would be nice if it could do that for those of us who work with numerous clients and/or projects.

Thanks for the feedback Naomi, certainly something we can consider! If you have other things you'd like to share about how you're working with theming, please let us know!

Cheers,

Kelly

Hi Kelly, one other thing, it's not something I need right now but I did see it posted somewhere else. If someone works in a company that uses branded palettes (themes), or several people are working on a project together, it would be nice to have a way to "zip" a theme and send to someone else, so the person could load to his/her system. The same way we can export library assets to a zip file.

Gotcha Naomi, some mechanism of "sharing" a theme that one user has already created. Do you find that you have to do this frequently (or would, if you could)?

Cheers,

Kelly

Actually, no. As I said, it's not something I need right now; however, saw this "complaint" somewhere else. Can't remember where. I know there are quite a few people out there who use Camtasia within their organizations, so I thought this would be important to also bring up.

I collab on some YouTube videos with someone and there could easily be an opportunity down the road where I may need to have the individual's theme for a video we are collabing and editing together. I could see this as a need for the future.

Right on, thanks for the insights as always Naomi! Also, if you happen to run across anyone within an org that is trying to share themes, don't hesitate to send them our way!

Cheers,

Kelly

Will do.  I am working on a training video this weekend to demonstrate ins and outs of themes.  By saying send them your way, are you saying there is a solution?  If so, what is it and I can add it to my training video.  If it is currently only on a case-by-case support ticket help situation, I can also mention that in the video.  If you prefer, you can e-mail me directly with what to emphasize for shared themes in the video. I'll be happy to add it.

No solution yet, Naomi. Currently, theming is still very new, so we're trying to keep our ear to the ground on how people are using it, how people are WANTING to use it, etc. So we would love to have more conversations!

Cheers,

Kelly

Hey, Kelly --
If you'll allow me to throw my two cents into the ring...I know our organization would love to be able to share themes.  We've each created a few and would like to share them so our videos look consistent.
Best,
Abigail

Thanks so much for sharing your experience Abigail! I'd love to hear more about what you and your colleagues are doing, how you're using themes currently, and how you might hope to share them with each other in the future.

Feel free to share more here, or if you'd like we could set up a call to chat about it. We're trying to get an understanding of how people are using theming now, and how we can improve the experience even more going forward.

Cheers!

I'm glad Abigail commented. I forgot I was going to post the training video I did on themes here. It took a little longer to do a produce as life happened, and I went deep into the training.  :-) Hope all who come by here enjoys and gets some benefit out of this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGE85sPL3bQ

I'm happy to hear you are so dedicated to working with your customers.  I wouldn't be opposed to taking this conversation offline and discussing further.
Thanks!

Thanks Abigail!  I just sent you an email to take the conversation offline and set up a call with the team.
