Camtasia 2018 Vibrancy of color on final video – We are seeing difference in the editor/canvas vs. after rendering where the colors seem to be not as bright. Does anyone have thoughts on how to keep colors vivid and vibrant after the project is rendered? We are rendering at 1080p to a MP4 file and the colors of the rendered version are muted, or not as crisp and vibrant. Is there some setting or recommendation?I've attached the difference side-by-side. Left is after rendering and the right is in the editor (canvas).

It might be the color mode you are using it export.
Camtasia has two color modes when producing as MP4. If you do a custom production you can choose NTSC or HDTV.
Depending on your computer and media player. You can get mixed results.

NTSC is typically what you shoot for when rendering for a computer. HDTV/high definition television sort of speaks for itself/better suited for a high definition television viewing.

But sometimes a different setting works better on a given computer. The drawback is sharing that file with someone else, may give them the faded result that you were experiencing. It's a bit of a win win/lose lose situation.
I cannot guarantee that's what your problem is. But it's the first place I would look if I were you.

Isn't this the same problem that CS2018 has had from the beginning?

So I don't think so.The canvas is washed out as well with the problem I believe you are thinking of.Which is still unresolved. { :>(
