Invalid or unsupported audio stream, black picture for each video. tested with multiple recordings from the ps4 itself with multiple games. Camtasia just cant handle it. Wait until it is better (unlikely) or get another video program. glad there was a demo so I didnt waste my money on this.

I have both and currently using the pro to capture footage when it's sometimes faster than using my capture card.

Lack of compatibility or unsupported formats are just a fact of life with most video software. MP4s and other formats can use a ton of different codecs. That's one of the reasons software like Adobe Media Encoder exists. My guess is that is has more to do with the way Sony encodes their MP4s or a hardware issue.

I would suggest you download Adobe Media Encoder or a similar application. Then you can probably convert the weird Sony codecs into something more compatible. Anyone doing any work with video should have a program for converting files--it'll make their lives a lot easier.

Or you can subscribe to Adobe Creative Cloud. Usually you can get it on sale for $30 a month or maybe less if you're a student. That way, you'll Premiere Pro, After Effects, and a ton of other awesome software for editing and design.
