Camtasia 2019 - incorrect answered questions do not appear again when reviewing

Hi!
I have the following problem with Camtasia 2019. I am setting quizzes after each section on my video tutorials. I select display feedback, with the actions "continue" if answered correctly and "go to Time" if the answer is incorrect. I set the time at the point where the section wrongly answered starts. My intention is that the learner will need to view again that section and then ideally take the quiz again, this time answering correctly (or this is the hope). The problem is that when the question is answered wrong and the learner goes back to see the last section again, the quiz is then gone, it does not come up again when arriving to the point where the quiz was placed.
I have not found any possibility to set is up. I think there is no point to have the option to jump to a x time in the video if then the learner cannot come back to the question again.
Any solution for this?
thanks a lot and  regards

Hi Victor,

I want to make sure I understand your request.  If a user does not answer the question correctly you want them to be able to try and give a new answer if using the feedback feature?

Things that would be true:
  • If the user gets the question correct, they will not be prompted to answer the question again.
  • If the user gets the question incorrect, then they will have to answer the question again.
  • So if as an author you have the incorrect action you seek the video back to a point and make the user answer that quiz question again.
Unfortunately the Camtasia / TechSmith Smart Player currently does not support this feature.  But we collect feedback from customers to help drive future work.

Hi Victor, I am just following up on this question.  Has this issue/feature been fixed/added in Camstasia 9.1.5.16?

Hello vs69,

No we have not updated our quizzing offering to support this behavior at this time.

try this technique ...

after the time point of your initial quiz, add separate sections for each original subject, with another quiz that just asks, again, the missed question; you can have multiple quizzes in the video

that way, the viewer will have a 2nd chance to answer that question

I find it to be slightly retarded on the part of the programmers not to have this so god damn obviously necessary feature built in.

It scares the shit out of me to know that the same minds that make these programs are gonna be the illogical creatures that make AI.

The illogic of the programmers is why AI is going to kill us all.

I think your comment may be being unfair to programs like Captivate.

People have been requesting quizzing improvements for years.
I don't create quizzes myself.
Near as I can tell, it's the same feature set version 8 had.If it predates that, ?

I was actually using restraint. You do n't want me to tell you just how f-ing stupid it is not having that feature, especially if they DID have it in the past. That makes it an asshole move.

I was using restraint as well.
Now I'll state my opinion, look elsewhere for what you desire. It appears you cannot find it in the present. If something changes down the road?
