Camtasia 3 for Mac, stop Recorder from minimizing during recording

I am using the new Camtasia 3 for Mac (never used any other version) and have discovered that when I record a region of my screen or even a second monitor the Recorder minimizes to the task bar.  That doesn't seem right.  You put an audio meter on the recorder that can't be seen because it minimizes.  Am I missing something?

You're not missing anything- that's how it currently works. The audio meter is just to help you make sure your mic is set up properly before you start recording.
But, we'll take this as a suggestion that you'd like to see the audio meter during recording! Could you tell us more about why?

It is a good practice to observe your audio meters while recording to monitor for clipping as well as when your volume drops. It is a tool to help you realize when you move to close or to far away from your mic, or when you suddenly speak louder. Think about it, all, mixers have it. All audio recorders have it. There is purpose for it. Here is an article that may better explain.

Thanks for taking this into consideration.
