I've downloaded the zip motion graphics from the Camtasia site, but when I unzip the file, it gives me a .cmproj file. This .cmproj file does not import into Camtasia 3 (Mac). What am I doing wrong?

You need to just open .cmproj file as a separate project.  You can then use that as a starting point for your own project, or copy and paste the contents into an already existing project.

We know that this is not a great workflow, but until we add a library to Mac version of Camtasia this is what you have to do.

Thanks for the quick reply! Hahahaha, I should have been able to figure that one out, but I didn't. Like you said, it isn't the best workflow, but I'm okay with it. Thanks for your help!!!

When you say "You need to just open .cmproj file as a separate project." do you mean right click on it and choose open with Camtasia? Hopefully not because that's not working....

Yes, that is what I mean.  You need Camtasia 3 in order to use the Motion Graphic assets.  They are not compatible with earlier versions of Camtasia for Mac.

Ahh... That must be it then. I'm on version 2. I have been waiting for the Mac version to have a library before I update.
