Camtasia 3 on Mac Air - Volume leveling & noise removal makes no changes

I have Camtasia 3 on my Macbook Air and when I work on an audio and want to change volume leveling or add noise removal - nothing happens on the audio track.
No matter which way I do it - drag or via Modify - absolutely nothing happens on the audio track. I can make what ever changes (high, medium, low) and audio stays exactly the same.

I'm pretty sure my audio cant be that good that there is no noise to remove or no need for audio leveling.

So what am I doing wrong? Do I need to do more than just drag the adjustment and then adjust? I am new to the Mac version of Camtasia.

*...missing my Windows version of Camtasia and how easy it was to use...*

Lokann,
The lack of response means that your problem is unique. Perhaps you could record a screen video of what is happening, and describe the problem more fully, like this:
  1. You have a clip that has audible background noise
  2. You drag the noise removal effect to that clip
  3. The sliders have no effect on the noise or the audio track
