Camtasia 3 on Mac color picker does not work  when used with 4k HDR monitors.

please fix it, or at least allow to remove multiple colours.

At the moment, I remove green- move the sliders Tolerance and Softness to the right and it removes the person while stubborn bits of green remain!

Have to go back to old monitor.. just to remove and process the videos. :(

the color picker is nice idea, but it really should work better even on ordinary screens it is not perfect.

Yep same issue for me on 9.0.5
Did this get resolved in 2019?

I'm on a MacBook Pro with a Retina display, and while the Remove a Color feature works just fine on my 2014 iMac, the same exact file on my MacBook Pro doesn't work.

I will not upgrade to any new versions until these features are fixed on Retina displays...c'mon Camtasia, these monitors have been out for years now!!!  Recording on my MacBook Pro doesn't work...I'm recording at FOUR TIMES the resolution, which is causing my laptop to overheat and run the fan constantly, which is picked up on my audio.

Okay, here's the answer...it DOES work in 2019, so I upgraded.

However, Camtasia 2019 STILL doesn't deal with the Retina display correctly.  There is a 4K setting that records 4x the screen resolution that I need.  If you choose the 1920x1080 resolution, it only records less than a quarter of your screen.

The amount of data being recorded with the 4K option makes my laptop run hot.  However, if you attack a second 1080p monitor to the computer, it will record at that resolution—I actually bought an LCD portable monitor for just that reason, but it's sad that I have to carry an extra monitor to be able to record my screen. So in theory, TechSmith should be able to "tap into" that video resolution and use it.  I don't need to make 4K training videos, and I want to be portable—working in a coffee shop or on a cruise ship—the reason I bought a really expensive MacBook Pro.  But because Camtasia doesn't handle the video properly, I'm anchored to my desktop machine or forced to take a portable monitor with me.

Recording at 4x the resolution and downsampling is NOT a good solution.  It's a data and performance issue that needs to be resolved.

Please, please, please find a solution for Retina displays that doesn't involve 4x the video data.
