After editing videos our company produces and shares the videos to our Vimeo page directly through Camtasia. This worked perfectly for the first couple of weeks, now every time I try to produce and share to Vimeo, Camtasia crashes. I produce it, save to my computer and upload it to Vimeo just fine, but this just adds more unneeded steps to the process.
Add one more to the "crash on Vimeo upload" club. Contacted support, was sent a "boiler-plate" email with an updated vimeoapi.dll file attached and instructions for a small Registry edit. Didn't help. When I recontacted them, they sent me the exact same "quick fix" email... hmmm. After I brought this to their attention, I was then asked to do a process monitor whilst Camtasia was running... but then they closed my ticket (YIKES) before I even had a chance to do this... This all after I provided Techsmith with a good bit of info on software behavior. CS v8.6, Win10, no other issues with any other apps or software. Wow... sounds like they know, but aren't willing to listen. Hope Techsmith gets this one figured out. I have also moved back to other video editors and manual uploads. I am about ready to purge v8.6 and scrub Registry, and install previous CS version.
