Camtasia 9 - Adjust volume levels over a selection of audio which are various clips of audio across the timeline

In previous versions of Camtasia it was possible to select across the timeline including several audio clips and adjust the volume of the selection (see image here: http://www.screencast.com/t/B53eaVlzR9jS). With Camtasia 9 that is no longer possible. Now you would have to adjust each clip individually.  This is a great disadvantage. Much more laborious and less efficient.
Can we get back the ability to select over a range of the timeline (with multiple audio clips) in order to adjust the volume consistently over the selection?

have you tried selecting multiple clips, then, in properties, select the audio button, and adjusting the slider?

This doesn't appear to work.  I select multiple clips, click the audio button on the left, but selecting the slider only adjusts that single clip.  Maybe I've done something incorrect.

it should work; just tried with 3 narrated trec clips on timeline; with all selected, using the audio slider [right side in properties] changed the gain on all 3 clips

How do I reduce the volume on a small portion of the audio clip? I used to select the portion and click Volume Down. So easy! What happened?

First separate audio from video if not already separate.

Select the audio track then select the Audio option

The audio track should now be greenish.

Make your selection then mouse over the green line till double headed arrow shows
Then click and drag up or down.

You can also click and drag the points to adjust fade

Dubie:)
