Camtasia 9 - black box in the upper-left corner when using pictures of different formats

Hello,

I have a problem regarding Camtasia 9.
I am currently trying to make a video consisting of several pictures of different formats.
So I tried to insert them and most of them worked just fine (I used the pre-set format 1920:1080) but when I inserted some pictures of other formats something like a black box appeared on some of the pictures...
Here is what it looks like: https://imgur.com/a/IsFAm
I tried some different options but the problem wouldn't go away.
I have absolutely no clue how to fix this - please help me!

Thanks in advance!

Can't really say for sure.

Just I few ideas to try...

Have you tried converting the format of the image? Say from png to jpeg

Have tried to close Camtasia and restart it?  Sometimes it just a burb in the program.

Did a reboot of your system? Could just be a hiccup in your graphic card/display.

:)

Thank you for your quick reply! :)
As it seems it is just a graphical bug of the program - the video doesn't have these boxes in the upper-left corner
I always use jpeg usually and I restarted the program several times but it might actually be the fact that I didn't restart the computer so far.
However, if the bug is just in the program and not in the videos it doesn't really matter so I can gladly close this thread :)

One thing you may want to try to overcome the issue with the program is to click Edit > Preferences > Advanced tab and adjust the setting for Hardware Acceleration.
