Camtasia 9 comes with a bunch of preset motion graphics for lower third text etc. You can easily change the textboxes and logos that come with these preset motion graphics but I can't seem to find a spot to change the color of shapes. It must be possible...right? I don't see the option in properties (no scroll either), somebody please tell me I overlooked something. These are great but if I can't brand them with my colors, I can't use them.

This is a part of what we need too: The ability to be able to set a range of assets according to the current branding.

You can change SOME of the shape colors in the Motion Graphics Intro Clips and the Lower Thirds.
The eLeaning Brothers ones you can not.

With your media on the timeline (we will use a Lower Thirds example)
you have to drill down by opening the group(s). then select one of the shapes.

Next go to the properties panel and
1. select the Annotation Properties tab
2. Change the color(s) if the shape can be modified.

As I stated Some of the shape colors can be changed, Some can not. You just have to open the groups and see if your chosen motion graphic shapes have the option.

Hope that helps :)

Hi, Can you change the length of the graphics? If I drag across, it either cuts off the animation or leaves it where it is. I wanted a way so if I make it shorter/ longer it moves the animation arrows with it

When you write "length of the graphic" do you mean the size (longer) of the graphic or how long it's visible in the video?

Hi, i meant the length in the video. If the motion graphic was 15 seconds and I wanted it to be 10 seconds, I couldnt just drag it as it deletes the animations at the end. Is there a way to change the time whist keeping the animations where they are?

If it is a single graphic with the animations add clip speed to it and the animations should adjust accordingly.

For groups you need to first

ungroup everything and then select everything and then add clip speed so everything gets adjusted the same.

The animations should adjust accordingly

Then regroup everything.
