In Camtasia version 9, the captions are white letters with black background.
I was unable to find a way to change it.
For example: I want yellow letters on light purple background.
Is that possible?

Yes you can. When you are adding captions there is a menu for doing that.

Related to this, is it possible to insert a hard return at the end of a line? I am not using to meet ADA requirements but to show additional information.

- How do I separate captions so there is space between them? I added them one after the other so there is no default space. They have a line between and I can move the line to change the length but it changes the time in the caption that is next to the one I'm changing.
- How do I delete a single caption? I found I can Split the caption, clear the text in the split area then drag the line to reduce the time in the cleared caption to nothing. This "deletes" the caption but it seems to be a lot of steps. I would appreciate a Remove this single caption option either in the right click menu or in the Captions list itself.

Okay, so if you left click on a caption in Captions window. The timeline indicator will move to the starting point of the highlighted caption.
Then just use the Split feature to split the captions apart. Then you can spread them apart.
When you split both sides of a caption you can highlight it and delete that caption.
If you could delete it with one click in the captions window that would be much easier.
Maybe you should post it as an Idea and see if it gains traction.

ah... I used the right click - Split Caption - not the icon. The right click option works differently.
Thanks.
