Camtasia 9: Customizable jumps & f ast forward

Hello, TechSmith-Team and community,

for removing idle times in recordings (as there is no automatic feature assisting this, which would be a killer feature in the favour of Camtasia), it would be fine not only to be able to jump to the next/previous frame via keys . and , but also to customize two keys for forward x frames/x seconds or backward x frames/x seconds.

Combined with a key combination for foward/backward & simultanously mark, cutting idle times from videos would be much less time consuming and annoying.

I would do the following:

Activate Auto-Mark, Set "jump-size" to 20 seconds.
Go to the beginning of the clip
press <MagicKey> marked 0 to 20 seconds
press <MagicKey> marked 0 to 40  seconds
press <MagicKey> marked 0 to 60 seconds,
uups, too far, go back
press <MagicKey2> marked 0 to 40 seconds
Ctrl-X delete unneeded parts.

etc.

Kind regards,

Franz

Is there supposed to be audio/narration with it?  I'm having a hard time understanding what/why you are doing without narration.
