First, congratulations with the new version. Looks nice!
Some remarks to make editing easier:
- I miss navigation keys. Common keys are: J (backwards) K (pause) L (forward) and arrow left/right for frame back forward.
- Titles: the drop shadow effect appears around characters but a border appears around the whole textbox and not around the characters. Characters with a border are better readable.
- I (inpoint) and O (outpoint) keys to select a segment of a clip and delete to remove the segment would be very handy.
- Home and End key to navigate to start and end of your movie.
- When I detach my canvas to my second monitor the text 'Canvas is detached/Reattach canvas' is shown in my former canvas. Can I get rid of that place-holder on the first monitor?
- I would like sound effects in the media library, to add to my animations.

Hi there!

I wanted to thank you again for submitting your thoughts on Camtasia, it is appreciated! I brought your thread before our Camtasia product team and while I cannot say that all of these changes/recommendations for Camtasia will come (nor when, if they do), I can say that we are looking into revisiting the hotkeys and may take this post into consideration.

Make sure you stay tuned!

Thanks again,
