Camtasia 9 Freezes frame on first few seconds, but the audio continues and records.

I am trying to screen record a video game (I have been able to do it in the past with this Camtasia) but now when I record what is on my screen, it freezes the frame at the first part and the audio continues to record. Then at the end of the recording it shows a small moment of recording then ends.
