Hey! So,I'll be quick. I've recorded some Payday 2 gameplay and I want to edit it in Camtasia 9. The problem? When I place the video on the timeline, I cannot hear my microphone, only the system sounds. To make sure it wasn't from the video itself,I checked it separately and my microphone WAS working.I don't understand why in Camtasia I can't hear it. I am using Windows 7,if that is important. I hope someone can help me fix this,as I don't want to lose over an hour of gameplay, since with Camtasia,I can make a nice montage with all the footage in a fast and easy way.

Assuming that the microphone is working (which you've said that you've checked), the usual cause of that is that you have not turned on the recording of the microphone, while still having system recording on. When you do that the main recording bar icon still shows "Audio on", as shown below.

Unfortunately... if that's what's happened, re-recording is your only option. (Not necessarily re-doing the whole gameplay, but you'd need to do a voice narration over it at least.)

If it makes you feel any better and it probably doesn't, probably most of us have been there with this one.
