Camtasia 9 Rendering Makes a New Folder Every Video

No idea what's happening here but it never happened in Camtasia 8.  When I batch render a few videos, I've always had them render to the same folder (G:\Renders).  I've got Camtasia 9 setup with the same setting and output source, but for some reason every video creates a new Render folder (G:\Renders (1), G:\Renders (2), G:\Renders(3), etc).

It's not creating subfolders, but rather creating a new copy of the output folder every time, as though it's unable to even see the original output folder.

Any ideas?

I am having the same issue.  It is a real pain when you are producing a batch and end up with 20 files in 20 different folders.

Found this trick useful to move all videos in one place after rendering

Having the same problem. It would be nice if TechSmith would fix this bug since the purpose of batch production is to save time by organizing by batch.

To Kristen F and others who are having this issue have any of you contacted TechSmith Support about this and gotten a reply back with a solution ? As stated awhile back by Joe if they are not aware of the issue then they cannot fix it or acknowledge the issue. Just posting it here will not help all the time as this is not a Support Group even though TechSmith Employees do post and look at it occasionally but mainly this is a user to user forum and we are not the developers of the software so we cannot fix the issue/bug.

Also can you give more information on the Version of Camtasia studio you are using and your Operating System, Is it a 32Bit or 64Bit System etc. Thanks and the more information the better it is to figure out the problem or solution too. Are you all using the latest Version of Camtasia Studio too ?

I will post the information below for this and if any of you contact them let us know what you find out by posting it back here and thanks. I can verify it does that for me too. But for the main part I do not do a lot of batch producing/rendering unless it is for a course.

Thanks for posting and have a great day/night. I will also put in a support ticket to show this question and see if they get back to me. Thanks again.

Cheers ~ Fred.

This bug has been fixed in the latest release of Camtasia (9.0.4). Thank you, TechSmith!!! This is a big time-saver!! Folder naming during batch production works correctly now.
