Using the Camtasia 9.0 trial I am missing fonts in the callout and captions font list. The missing fonts are all open type fonts and were available in Camtasia 8.6.
Some of these are our 'corporate fonts', so I need them for captions and callouts or we don't upgrade to Camtasia 9!
Is there anything I can do?

Fonts also have jagged edges (see attached image). I am using Windows 7, font is Arial. This looks awful when you output a video, click to see full size.

Yes, jagged edges is big issue. I thought it will be fixed with Camtasia 9, but it's still a problem. I've posted this before few weeks, but still no reply from the officials https://feedback.techsmith.com/techsmith/topics/problems-with-the-letters-in-callout-text-camtasia-9

I'm having the same problem - my Adobe fonts are not displaying in captions in Camtasia 9 - they worked in Camtasia 8.

same problem:
i have successfully upgraded from Camtasia 8 to 9.
But i have found out some serious problems with fonts display.
My Korean fonts are not displaying or recognized at all in Camtasia 9 - they worked perfectly in Camtasia 8.
How can I resolve this problem?

As a short-term workaround, you can convert an OpenType to a TrueType at this website:
https://everythingfonts.com/otf-to-ttf
I've tested it with only a single sample font, but it worked for me.

I also have Work Fonts to be used these are the Univers Series and they also don't turn up in Camtasia 9. Why did the font displays change? What is the workaround for this? The URL link suggested above didn't work for my fonts.

Ok I resolved this myself - I simply googled TTF fonts for the font families I needed for work.
I downloaded and installed these.
I had to restart Camtasia to view the new fonts - and bingo they are there.
I just have to remember to double click the text to highlight it, and select my new font and all is good.

I am having this issue in Camtasia 9.1.0 and after trying various online otf to ttf converters with no luck. I came upon the realization that it was and issue with Camtasia and my font manager, Suitcase Fusion 8.
Apparently Camtasia is not changing to any font that is installed via Suitcase. It sees them for the drop down but does not change it to the font when chosen. If i delete it from Suitcase and simply copy the font into the Windows 10 native font folder then the font is available in Camtasia.
While not exactly sure, I believe this is a Camtasia issue as none of my other programs in Microsoft Office or Adobe Creative Cloud have this issue. I could be wrong as to whether it's Camtasia or Suitcase (or both) but wanted to make others aware.

Thank you for this response. I have Suitcase Fusion 6 for the PC and I am experiencing the exact same issue. The workaround of installing the fonts I needed directly in to the Window Fonts folder worked for me (although not ideal.)

You are welcome and I agree, definitely not an ideal solution by any means.
