Hi,

I have a track with subtitles. Is it possible to condition its presentation only if the sound is disabled? How?

I assume you are referring to closed captions as subtitles in a produced video?

if so, I know of no way automatically do what you want; when a video is playing, you can manually silence the audio, and you can show/hide closed captions; but those 2 functions are not interconnected

but it's an interesting idea; have you seen that behavior somewhere?

Thanks for your reply.

My presentation subtitles are a mix of callouts and videos, all in the same track.

My idea is turn off this track when the sound is active and turn on when the sound is desactive. For this, I would need to condition the track status according to the sound status.

Any idea to do this?

I do not believe that is possible

when you produce, the callouts and video clips are burned into the video that is created; so no way to turn that on/off
