This is more for awareness opposed to looking for a reply. A number of our users run Camtasia and we recently upgraded from 8.x to 9. Around the same time, we also happened to change some items out in the corporate firewall.
The error is generated as they are attempting to publish content to Screencast.com, it will almost immediately give the error.
After playing around with the product, we have determined it was *not* a product or packaging issue but an internal network/proxy issue. Looks like someone on our end needs to add a rule in to allow this product to connect out.
This should not be an issue users who are running a "simple" modem/router internet connection. I just thought it would be worth sharing for anyone who might see this error while attempting to publish.
