Camtasia Add border to image

How can I easier add a 1 pixel border to an image I have placed on my timeline?

Of course I want to be able to choose the color.

I know I can do that it in an image editing program like SnagIt, but after I resize the image in Camtasia, the border may disappear due to resampling, etc.

This should be an integrated feature in Camtasia, IMO

Maybe I'm missing something but if you go to Visual Effects, you can add a border of 1 px and choose your colour?

Hi, Rudy!  I'd never used the Visual Effects screen!  That's exactly what I needed.

THANK YOU!!

I find that I rarely use an image without some degree of editing (cropping, resizing, etc.), so I often just add the border I want at that stage (typically using SnagIt Editor).

One reason that you may want to do it in Camtasia instead is that if you intend to resize/scale the image in Camtasia, a border applied within the application will remain a constant width. If you apply the border outside of Camtasia, it's width will change if you resize/scale it up or down.
