During the cutting of a video, camtasia gets really slow and we have to wait for a long time to continue the cutting. Are the cuts stored somewhere and if yes is there a possiblitiy to delete the cuts which have been made?

the "cuts" are scripted into the tscproj project file [it's an xml-like text file]

lots of cuts makes for a more complicated project file, which can affect editor performance

try this ...

produce the project [no interactive content] to AVI; use that AVI in a new project and continue editing; editor performance should improve dramatically; repeat as necessary

Thank you for your fast replay.

We can't produce our projects in the AVI format. Is there also a other solution?

when you do a custom production, you have the option to select AVI type vs others likw MP4; the AVI give best results for additional project work as it is considered "lossless"

when finished editing, produce to MP4 type w/smart player
