I said wow when I saw this. I had asked this question awhile back, and the TechSmith staff got back to me with the explanation of why a preview player was not currently available. Since then Camtasia 9 was released with lots of super cool improvements and features. It also comes with a form of the preview application I spoke of. I have the product Xilisoft Video Converter and was greeted when the program launched with a message (pic) that said, it was including the tssc2 codec. I said “Camtasia???... no way”! That would be too cool!... but, it does include a way to work with the codec to render them to any of the formats that it can produce (such a great list of format options). The marriage of these two applications is too good to be true! I wish Adobe Media Encoder would follow in Xilisoft’s footsteps. Thanks
