I'm fit to be tied.. Spent the better part of the day
creating a tutorial.  Saved it numerous times - manually.

Finished.  Saved and was just going to export as zip
and Camtasia greyed out and crashed.

When I restarted, I didn't get any message about
Camtasia closing suddenly... would I like to recover....

I went to the folder where I'd saved my work and
it's EMPTY!!!!!

How is that possible???

6 hours worth of work - GONE!!!!

What now?  is there any other place to look for it?

Why does Camtasia crash like that and, why is it
not offering to recover the work?

thank you many bunches for your help

Have you looked in "C:\Users\xxxxxx\AppData\Local\TechSmith\Camtasia Studio\8.0\Auto-Saves".

In case you couldn't tell from that response,
my tutorial was there... in all of its glory...

I will keep that folder on speed dial :)
