I'm using Camtasia 8, if it makes a difference. When I create a video with a smart player, it creates a folder which houses the mp4 file, html files, and other support files. I would like if there was a way to create the same video but only as a single file. I am uploading this to a document library on sharepoint, and I would like for people to be able to use the table of contents to quickly move between topics. I am currently just uploading the base mp4 files.

Good luck with that. The multiple files are just part and parcel of the nature of video.
About the only way I could fathom that this might be achieved would be to create some kind of EXE file that contained all the elements. But that enters a complete other realm where some seriously bad things can happen.
Cheers... Rick :)

I believe [?] there may be a way to host Camtasia videos, with player, on Sharepoint; I seem to recall a thread on this forum, or a tech support article, that described how
perhaps search this forum for "sharepoint" as keyword, and/or contact free tech support

I followed the videos that you linked to, but I was unable to get it to work in the end. At the end of that process, I am supposed to be able to click on the html document within SharePoint and have it open up in the browser, but it instead tries to download the document. I have tried on chrome and IE, and on someone else's computer to see if it was a problem with my computer. I can't figure out why it's not working.

I don't use SharePoint; suggest you contact free tech support and have them help you with the process discussed in the above support article

Jared,
Did you ever get it to work? I think if you have on-site you have to do option 1 and option 3.
I wasn't sure if it was worth the request to IT to adjust the permissions.
Thanks!

Sharepoint has a lot of restrictions imposed, and a great deal depends on who is administering the site, what permissions are granted (and to whom) etc. As a result, some clients simply do not use Sharepoint for hosting certain kinds of work products.
