It’s not that easy...
This should work, but using USB microphones that rely on the native windows10 driver, may lead to problems. We’ve had this issue with a blue yeti as well, and the solution was to change the cable.
One if my colleagues did still have the problem, but solved it by changing back to the original cable.....

I tried a different cable and several microphones with two computers, but nothing works. Perhaps I have a problem with drivers, but accordings to windows 10 system tray they should be ok.

Have you tried Windows 10 "voice recorder" app? If you can get windows to recognize the mic, Camtasia should work too.

Thank you for this advice. The voice recorder does not work. Now I can ask a local computer expert to solve that Windows problem.

It may not be a windows problem . . .
Do you know for a fact that the USB port is working? I noticed at Newegg, that your microphone has powered electronics inside - an Analgue-to-Digital and Digital-to-Analog converters. A USB 3.0 port is capable of 1.0 Amps at 5 volts, a USB 2.0 or 2.1 may not have enough juice. Can you try your microphone on another windows 10 computer? A friend, a neighbor? If it works on another system, it may be your sound card - either a separate component or built into the motherboard. Either way, you should be able to find a used sound card for $5 or less.
BTW, that's a very nice microphone and Ihope you get it working. If you bought directly from AKG, I think it has a lifetime warranty. https://www.akg.com

Thank you for your advice. I found a newer Lenovo-Notebook that often gets updates from Lenovo. With this notebook it was absolutely no problem to plug in my microphone and to choose it in Windows voice recorder as well as Camtasia. So it was easy to produce a video. My PC and my Fujitsu Notebook both have several USB 2 and USB 3, but none of them works. Both computers often get Windows 10 updates, but no updates for BIOS or drivers. Therefore I think that this is the problem.

Found a couple of problem cases related to USB mics. https://windowsreport.com/usb-microph... https://www.pcsteps.com/15528-windows... In addition to these, everything said above about quality of USB port, and power capabilities is important to check.
