I would love to be able to add a curve arrow to my videos on Camtasia 2018 for Mac. But currently, I haven't found a way.

u can create a transparent PNG file of  any arrow you like and add the graphic :-)

does that help?

That's actually what I ended up doing. I made a curved arrow in Sketch, matched the color and width of the straight arrows and exported it.

Here's a technique I use. With TechSmith Snagit, create a curved arrow from the set of available symbols. Click on the path to drag out the curve you want. Select only that arrow and save it as a transparent PNG. Import that into Camtasia. It works on Windows and Mac versions of Camtasia. Snagit's easy symbols are what I use even for annotating Adobe Photoshop work.

That sounds pretty easy. I don't have Snagit though. I ended up using Sketch to make an arrow that matched the color and width of my other arrows with a drop shadow and exported it.

I would suggest purchasing Snagit. Ha ha. Seriously, the best tool and reasonably priced.

Another upvote for Snagit-the upgrade to the 2019 version was well worth the price. I routinely create transparent graphics in Snagit for use in Camtasia.
