What do you consider "very large"? I captured a 3 minute YouTube 720p video, that created a 734 MB trec file. It rendered down to a sensible 42 MB mp4 file.

As users, we have very little control over the size of the trec files we create: size (H x V), color depth, & frame rate.

4 GB in 12 minute with mp4 format, because TwinMotion is a real time software and each small movement consider as a frame

perhaps consider making lots of short videos and then stitch or link them together?

make a collection of short duration captures, like 2 minutes in duration; make a project from each capture; produce to MP4; use those MP4s to make a composite production

Are you saying that the TREC files are huge, the rendered output files are huge, or both?

If it's TREC files, you can probably compress them in Handbrake to a small fraction of their TREC size, if you need to conserve disk space, with no visible loss in quality.

If it's the rendered output file, what settings are you using for the encoding mode in the Video setting in the Camtasia production preset?
